Well behaved dogs are very welcome, as in so much of the Lake District.
Riley loves it here. His nose perks up when we reach the roundabout just before we get here. There are just so many rabbits and squirrels for him to chase after, and lots of places for him to sunbathe. The garden is fully enclosed and with the electric gates there’s no need for him to explore offsite.
He loves the half a mile wander down our neighbour’s private path to our lakeshore and jetty, and is ok with being on the lead when there are sheep in the adjacent field.
And when he gets back there’s the open fire to sit in front of.
Of course he’s no need to feel guilty because we don’t believe in charging extra for a pet to stay. And we are happy for two pets at a time.
