Our main sitting room has a beautiful open fire. The chimney provides a powerful draw, such that even a teenager could light a well constructed fire with a single match. We provide a generous starter pile of firewood, newspaper, coal and kindling, with a little extra for those visiting for a full week in the winter, but more supplies are readily sourced from nearby supermarkets and specialists.
